Kick-Off Meeting in Bremen<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The ENTER project officially launched with a dynamic kick-off meeting from 11 to 13 February 2026 at the University of Bremen, bringing together 25 partners from EU (Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Germany), India and Malaysia to advance open, data-driven, and community-engaged environmental education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Building on the success of past projects li<\/span>ke MARE and URGENT, ENTER aims to co-create sustainable models for university-com<\/span>munity collaboration in Indi<\/span>a a<\/span>nd Malaysia \u2014 using open data, livi<\/span>ng labs, and microcredentials to tackle real-world environmental challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Outcomes:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Common framework to be established for credit points and key terms (e.g., living labs, data co-production).<\/li>\n
  • 5 living labs and 4 citizen science projects to be launched, focusing on biodiversity, coastal management, and community decision-making.<\/li>\n
  • ENTERnet platform to be developed to host 70 ECTS of new degree and microcredential courses.<\/li>\n
  • Equipment procurement underway to support data collection and ICT infrastructure.<\/li>\n
  • Steering Committee & QA Board appointed; sustainability plan to be developed early.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The project will deliver 18 new degree courses, 9 microcredentials, and 20+ training events, empowering students, researchers, and communities with digital and data literacy skills.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Training Session: Explore proven methods for Living Labs & Co-Creation<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    The ENTER kick-off Meeting in Bremen concluded on 13. February 2026 with a training session on participatory approaches, bringing together partners to explore proven methods for community engagement, data co-creation, and living labs.<\/p>\n

    Led by CNR, CSI, and the University of Bremen (ZMML), the session showcased best practices including:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Serious games and role-play simulations to foster negotiation and collective decision-making.<\/li>\n
    • Citizen science and participatory GIS for community-driven data collection.<\/li>\n
    • Digital tools for participatory scenario-building and \u201cdigital twin\u201d planning.<\/li>\n
    • OER-based learning platforms and micro-credential pathways for scalable education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      These tools were presented as ready-to-use \u201creplication kits\u201d \u2014 practical, adaptable resources to guide the development of 5 living labs and 4 citizen science projects in India and Malaysia.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

      ENTER Project Launches with First Online Pre-Kick-Off Meeting<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

      On 26 November 2025, the partners of the Erasmus+ project ENTER held their first online meeting to officially start the collaboration. The session began with a warm welcome and a general overview of the project\u2019s objectives and structure. Each partner introduced their organization, highlighting their expertise and role in the project.<\/p>\n

      The meeting continued with brief presentations and discussions for each Work Package. The leaders presented their plans for project management and quality assurance (WP1), preparation of development activities (WP2), development of ecosystems for data sharing and co-production (WP3), co-creation and community engagement actions (WP4), creation of curriculum contents and e-learning (WP5), and dissemination and exploitation (WP6).<\/p>\n
